Up North in Style: Chauffeured Football Away Days from Hertfordshire This Winter

Some football trips stay with you. Big fixtures like Liverpool v Manchester City and Manchester United v Tottenham show why. With winter coming and the festive fixtures filling the calendar, now is a good time to get your friends together and plan a trip north to see your team. At Elite Drivers Hertfordshire, we make sure the travel is as enjoyable as the match.

The Journey Is Part of the Day

Watching your team at Anfield, the Etihad or Old Trafford means a round trip of close to 400 miles from Hertfordshire. That can mean crowded trains, missed connections and a late rush for the last service home. With a chauffeur, you leave from your own front door and are dropped close to the ground. When the final whistle goes, your car is waiting for you. Nobody has to drive, nobody has to watch the clock, and the drive home becomes a chance to talk through every goal and every decision.

The Right Vehicle for Your Group

For groups of up to seven, the Mercedes-Benz V-Class is a comfortable luxury people carrier. It has room to stretch out, space for coats and bags, and a relaxed cabin for the long motorway journey. For larger groups of eight or more, such as supporters' clubs, office outings or a birthday trip, our 16-seater Mercedes-Benz Sprinter keeps everyone travelling together in comfort. If you are hosting clients in hospitality, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class or BMW 7 Series is the right choice. A flagship saloon sets the tone before kick-off.

Why Groups Come Back to Us

All our chauffeurs are employed by us and fully DBS-checked, and we never use subcontractors. The team has more than ten years' experience, so they know the motorways, the busy match-day roads and the best places to pick you up and drop you off. Our vehicles are always immaculate, and our fixed, all-inclusive prices mean you know the full cost before you set off. It is the same reliability our clients trust for airport transfers and corporate travel across Hertfordshire and London. What they value most, though, is the personal attention. Many of the groups we drive for every season have become friends. We know who supports which team, who likes an early start and who needs a coffee before the M1. We care about your day as much as you do, and that is something an app-based ride can't offer.

Plan Ahead for the Festive Fixtures

Kick-off times often change once matches are picked for television, and the festive period is the busiest time of the football year. If you book early, your vehicle and your preferred chauffeur are confirmed, and we can adjust your timings if the fixture moves.

Whether it's a trip with friends, a treat for a lifelong fan or a day of client hospitality, Elite Drivers Hertfordshire will get you there and back safely, comfortably and without stress.
