Goodwood Festival of Speed 2026: Arrive Like a Guest of Honour

The Goodwood Festival of Speed is, quite simply, one of the finest events in the British summer calendar. Set against the magnificent backdrop of Goodwood House in West Sussex, it draws together the world's most extraordinary automobiles, the boldest names in motorsport, and an audience that appreciates fine engineering and impeccable style in equal measure. If there is one event that reflects the values of Elite Drivers Hertfordshire — precision, luxury, and an uncompromising standard of experience — it is this one.

Getting There in the Right Spirit

The Festival of Speed is not the sort of occasion you arrive at frazzled from a motorway snarl-up, searching for a car park. The journey should be every bit as considered as the day itself. From Hertfordshire and London, the route to Goodwood takes you south through Surrey and into the Sussex countryside — a drive that, in the wrong vehicle or with the wrong plan, can quickly become a source of stress rather than anticipation. Elite Drivers handles the logistics entirely, so you do not have to. Your professional chauffeur — one of our own in-house team, never a subcontractor — knows the route, monitors traffic in real time, and ensures you arrive composed, on time, and ready to enjoy the occasion from the first moment you step out of the car.

The Right Vehicle for the Occasion

For a day at the Festival of Speed, the vehicle matters. We would recommend arriving in the Mercedes-Benz S-Class or the BMW 7 Series — our flagship luxury saloons. Both offer a cabin environment that befits one of the year's most glamorous events: whisper-quiet, supremely comfortable, and finished to the highest standard. If you are travelling as a group — corporate hospitality guests, family, or a party of friends — the Mercedes-Benz V-Class accommodates up to seven passengers in genuine comfort, with none of the compromises of a minibus.

A Day for Corporate Hospitality

The Festival of Speed is also a superb setting for corporate entertaining. Whether you are hosting clients, rewarding your team, or attending as a VIP guest, arriving by chauffeur immediately sets the right tone. Elite Drivers has over a decade of experience supporting corporate travel across Hertfordshire and London, and we understand that how you arrive is part of the impression you make.
